Roman Humaj was born on 2nd of January 1991 and he started to practice martial arts in 2008 at a martial arts club Kobudo Kai in Bratislava.
He practiced modern style of Kobudo under Igor Vakoš and Andrej Považan as well as self
defense and attended karate classes. During those years he attended many camps with different instructors and masters and have tried variety of styles including Ju Jutsu or Filipino Martial Arts, but focused mainly on Kobudo.
After few years, Roman came across Soke Vlado and Shihan Günter
and after experiencing what Kobukai Kobudo was about, he started to train under
Sensei Mario in Vienna with two of his friends. They still train there today.
Roman and his two friends opened a Martial Arts club in
Bratislava in September 2017 in order to promote Kobukai Budo Do in Slovakia.
